These images from our BRIGHT STAR inspiration shoot at The Walden Inn in Aurora, Ohio have been figuratively burning a whole in my hard drive the past few months-I had to wait to share them to correspond with their feature on Style Me Pretty’s prestigious Little Black Book blog today!!!  Please head on over to SMP to check out the handiwork of some of the Cleveland Area’s most creative and loveley wedding vendors-and do feel free to leave a little bit of love in the comments section!  SMP loooooves nice comments!

The inspiration for BRIGHT STAR came from John Keats’ beautiful poem of the same name…  And all of the glorious images that come to mind when reading it…

Valarie of Kirkbrides and I took the poem and found ourselves overwhelmed with BRIGHT STAR astronomy inspiration!

Hair & Makeup provided  by the unbelievably talented Ramona Dauksa…  I just love the look Ramona created for our shoot!

Headband from the ladies at Something White, A Bridal Boutique.

The florals created by Amy of Bouquet Studio were perfection; incorporating a bit of sparkly ‘stars’ to go with our theme…

Maria of Holdge Podge Vintage Rentals provided the stunning vintage touches to create a little bit of Bright Star beauty to the modern fields of Aurora, Ohio…

I love Maria & her vintage rentals, did I already mention this?  Oh I did?  Well, it begs repeating

Amanda of Baci Designs contributed one of the most beautiful paper suites I have ever seen (we’re talking hand embroidered, people!)  As well as this stunning Bright Star banner which features John Keats’ poem in its entirety in the background-I love it!

Our beautiful baby model, Sadie, shows of her BRIGHT STAR pomander…

Headband from Something White.

I just love the cake with edible asteroids from A Cookie & a Cupcake in Tremont (BEST CAKE EVER!)

I am obsessed with this gown from Something White, A Bridal Boutique in Independence…  And with the sash…  and the headband…  I could go on!

The jewelry is from local designer, Clagett Designs.

We chose a deep blue and peach color scheme for BRIGHT STAR.  Chargers, table, table linens, chairs and party rentals from Event Source.

Vintage dishes and silver from Hodge Podge.  Embroidery hoops favors DIY (by yours truly!)

More magic from Bouquet Studio…

The beautiful tux worn by our BRIGHT STAR groom is an Astor & Black.

I just love The Walden Inn for weddings-it has it all, a 5 star hotel, a 5 star spa, and all of the charming farm goodness you want in an Ohio Wedding!

Draping and lighting design provided by Rock The House

This handsome fellow works at Walden as well!  He was very eager to take part in our shoot (and be petted!)
