I remember being told to photograph any wedding like the family is your own. To see through eyes of love as you work. I like to think that I do this for every one of my couples, but this wedding is very special to me. My littlest sister-in-law (but to call her anything less than “my sister” seems not to honor the depth of our relationship – she has also become one of my best friends over the past 9 years,) married her love this past summer. It was such a fun day – the drizzly, cloudy sky opening up just in time for the ceremony and a dance party for the ages. I am very pleased to share a tiny smattering of a wedding shot with true ”heart eyes,” Sarah & Jason’s lake Michigan celebration, shot on film.
